It really is Fall!

Rosherville Reserve (Chinamans Beach)

Yesterday was as an absolutely beautiful day.  Fall and winter bring rain, rain and more rain so we knew we had to hit the park for a picnic (American Style not Aussie BBQ) with friends.... The kids had a wonderful time tossing the (American) football, frisbee, flying the kite and swimming.

With Easter around the corner.....

Todays conversation went like this.....

Brother:  Can we color eggs today?

Mom:  No, not yet Easter is still 2 weeks away.

Brother:  But why not?

Mom:  We will have a lot of eggs to eat.  

Brother:  But Mom, why would we eat them?????....They are NOT CHOCOLATE.  

SO....

Tomorrow, will be our first adventure in coloring brown eggs.  

Early yes but Brother is keen to get these eggs colored and I decided why not?  

Culinary Creativity Challenge for Mom:  Hard boiled eggs that kids love to eat.  

Seriously? This is totally on MY MUST DO LIST!!!!
