On our walk to school this morning, the high school marching band were practicing their routine for tonights opening game. (I never realized how I missed that sound!) On my return home, they started playing The Star Bangled Banner. My first thought... I just don't think its more American than this and secondly, THERE REALLY IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME.
We are blessed to live in OUR glorious country and extremely thankful for having the opportunity to live abroad!
Brother and Hubs are taking in their FIRST high school football game this evening.
Do other countries have marching bands? In my 4 years Down Under, I don't recall ever seeing/hearing one.
Sorry I didn't have a picture, it was one of those, I can't believe I left my phone at home moments!
