Day 2: We are finally coming outta our jet lag haze! Just in time to run off to London for the long weekend! We are taking the train which is about a two hour ride from where our apartment is located.
Hubs has a meeting in "the city" tomorrow am, so we are heading there this evening.
The kids have three things on their must see list: Big Ben, Eye of London and where Paddington Bear went (The palace).
A bit about our apartment. It is sufficient and a short walk to many shops and restaurants. (I am embarrassed to say we haven't done much of anything except sleep, sleep and sleep. Next week!)
A few niggles:
Yes, the washer & dryer combo is located in its own closet, not next to the dishwasher which is very common. This is a big bonus! However, I give the combo a big thumbs down as it takes so long to get laundry done!
I thought I had it bad in Sydney with a long wash/dry time. Ha, was I wrong!
Let's just say, I wash often and line dry everything! Even my towels - (which I really dislike- no towel should exfoliate as it dries!)
