On Saturday, we went to the London Tower. It was by far the favorite of sister & mom! So much history, though I do have to say the modern city they built up around is disappointing. It takes away from the history and imagining all the drama of King Henry VIII. We still enjoyed and highly recommend it! We spent the day there and then managed to catch up at a noodle bar with our Aussie friends.
Sunday, we wondered off to the Imperial War Museum. Another crowd pleaser! Brother was a bit worse for wear, but we all enjoyed it and it was FREE! After dinner, we rode the London Eye and took a river cruise. Though we thought the eye was ok - none of us would bother going back. Given the expense of it, I would skip it all together if I had a redo. Same with Hubs and Sister.
Back to home base for A week of laundry and exploring before we head out for Hannover, Germany Saturday morning.
