The past 8 months have passed with a new household phrase!
"it's all happening, now!"
Mainly, its used to express our disbelief, surprise, amazement and amusement of each step along our life road. It may signify a big thing (getting the international movers scheduled to pack up our household goods) or a simple ordinary task (a math exam completed). In this case, its a bit of a bigger statement. We are one step closer to Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Eiffel Tower, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Berlin Wall, Juliet's Courtyard, and The Globe...Just a teaser to the many adventures that await us. To quote my dear, dear friend @ Life Could Be A Dream Here's hoping "it will be far from Griswold style!"
The corporate apartment is packed up again - our new home is being built so in the mean time our air shipment and cars are in storage units. Bags with three months of living are all packed!
First things first- This weekend Sister is swimming in her first state championship! So PROUD of her!
We are enjoying the weekend with family and swimming!
Monday we are off again!
Some fun facts!
Its our First time crossing on American Airlines. We are die hard United people, but AA jus offers better Europe service. Will report back.
The entire length of the trip including - The plane change in Chicago is 12.5 hours - shorter than the LA to Sydney flight!
For the first time 4 plus years we. Are traveling with bags below 50lbs! What? I know right! What am I forgetting?
The weather at our final destination right now is comparable to Sydney's winter weather. 12c daytime high and 8c @ night! Plus it's late May! Hmm sure Hope England warms up for us!
Finally! We are super excited to catch up with our Sydney friends while there! It's been a year too long! Can't wait Jenny!
