While you are recovering from your turkey overload an shopping exhaustion - we will feast! This year I am actually cooking the turkey! Big day for me since I haven't cooked a turkey in 5-7 years! I will let you know how it turns out. I had to borrow a pan actually a smoker not a roaster from my friend. She was kind enough to suggest we could share her roaster, but I declined. I figured if we shared than neither of us would be eating turkey, but sitting together at McDonald's when it all fell apart. HA - Since this is my first time in many years, we went with my friends suggested fool proof method of a bag! So, heres hoping it is truly foolproof. We are heading to the beach in a few hours to enjoy a traditional thanksgiving meal with our friends...We have a good crowd of 63+ American's gathering. After 3 years in Australia - it still seems a bit wrong to cook turkey and eat a "traditional" Thanksgiving Meal when its 80 degrees and sunny! Thankful to have many friends to share our day with!
