So, I am HORRIBLE at updating our blog. If only I had time....Well, I am going to try to sit down once each week to post a little update. I will fill you in on the Carlson happenings, as of recent.

01 June was the official first day of winter. YEP, it is 18c daytime high and 10c nightly. Brrrrr...We have had over a week of non-stop rain and cold and I am feeling a bit crabby about it. Well, I guess if this is winter - who can complain?

Hannah is in Year 7, and quickly learning that she should study for exams and be on time for class. She is in the midst of Hockey (girls, field) this year she is the goalie. They finally won their first game last weekend, 0-2!!!! Hannah is still swimming with the club, 2 days a week and when were not doing sport, we are at drama or Church youth group. I think I could legitimately put a "Mum's Taxi" sticker on my car.

Charlie is going to be 3 on 24 June. He is SLOWLY working on potty training and I mean SLOWLY....He goes to pre-school 2 days a week and has been invited to his first birthday party! Hamish, is his little friend from school.

We are all counting down the days until Auntie Kristi, Jack, Grandpa Richard and Nicholas come "Down Under." They arrive 8 July until 22 July, we are so excited to show them around our town. I hope everyone handles the 17 hour time difference and the 24 hours of travel, because we have LOTS planned.

As you can see with the photos, we are busy preparing for Jack! Charlie tested out the sink as a bath tub and Hannah has completed the safety check for the baby toys!
