we made it!

Here we are and we are live with the Internet FINALLY!!!!

WE made it through our trip around the world, tired and worn but all in one piece! We had grand plans to ring in the new year with the world famous Sydney fireworks....Ha :) seems the joke was on us. We were ALL sleeping by 5 pm and woke up at 3:00 am. We are all still trying to get settled in on a good sleep schedule. This second week has been the worst for the fatigue, but at least we are going to bed at 9ish and getting up at 6ish...

The kids are enjoying the beach (2 doors down) and discovering that we can do a bunch of stuff in a day and still run down to the beach for a swim. Hannah is enjoying her boogie board, and Charlie likes to get pushed around on it by Hannah! The beach is perfect for the kids. It is a "protected" harbour beach, so we don't have to worry about the dangers of the open sea...It is much calmer and it has a kiddie pool that is perfect for Charlie.

Summer Holiday is coming to an end around here. Brett is back to work, Hannah is going to start school at the end of the week and Charlie and I have a LOT of exploring to do. The bus stop is just down the way from the house and will take us anywhere we need to go. I am thinking about and planning on taking a drive in the car. I will let you know when I come out of the planning stage! :)

The weather is lovely, reminds us of Florida. Hot and a bit sticky but not too bad. We don't run the air conditioner much as the ocean breeze is far more effective at cooling the house than the air. I will post up some pictures tomorrow.
